A great question! and it depends who and when you ask!
For instance this bar I share in this post, it's a 1 troy oz aluminum bar today it is relatively cheap but back in the 18ths it was a very precious metal worth twice as much as gold.
Back in the day Napoleon used to flex on his guest with aluminum cutlery wow what a baller 🤣 eventually the methods improved and aluminum became very cheap.
Are our precious metals going to be precious indefinitely perhaps not but in the mean time we stacking hard.
Right below included a picture of the aluminum bar on top a bunch of various 1 oz silver bars you can see the stark density difference between silver and aluminum.
