Well I have an old Mac mini and an old MacBook pro that was top notch at the time but both Intel the new macs are really decent for local AI especially for the form factors and power draw also some pretty solid unified memory setups not offered anywhere else there are older Mac studios with 512GB unified ram !PIMP
