The experiment turned out very neat, I learned a lot, some things did not turn out quite how I expected but some did such is life isn't it ?
I want to thank @silversaver888 for being awesome , she put me on this Coin Antiquating journey, and being an all around cool Steemian.
I got this sulphur solution on amazon, here are some affiliated links for the best deal sI found, I went with 4 ounces because you got to go bit or go home, and I can use it for other projects and experiments that I hope to share with y'all in the near future.
WHAT I LEARNED FROM THE EXPERIMENTS
This process chemically wares down your coins layer by layer
Copper seems to blacken instantly while the silver rounds fist develop some interesting hue toning, it was actually my desired effect :)
3)The blackened coating can come off revealing a clean metal the Cannabis round is a great example (below)
4)The polishing bit of the process is a lot harder than expected and is truly an art.
3))One must be carefully when applying wax or other product with rotary tool
A very useful and versatile tool to have, amazon links of the best deals, I found
