It's the holiday season and well to be honest with you I didn't expect all too much to be happening this time of the year as many devs and people are on vacation for the holidays. However it seems like in this case crypto never sleeps as we have a number of new updates.
On the social front InLeo is just about to come out of beta with their threadcasts feature. While the feature itself isn't new the way in that it's promoted and shared with users on the UI is.
Much like you see on other platforms such as X or Instagram the going live icons are now displayed for threadcasts. Not only does this make it easier to find the threadcast and take part in the conversation (I can't tell you how many times I lost the thread for the threadcast and couldn't find my way back lol)
This starts to open up threads to a lot more activity and possibilities for the future such as rewarding people who are asking questions on their live feeds and more. I've even seen a case where someone started to use threadcasts for their Twitch live stream which is actully a rather cool idea.
With a paid promotion option and some details added into the threadcast I could see this making a big play.
Also we have the release of the token $ONEUP new UI front end at Oneup-Cartel.com This is a project that did well during the bull market but then ran into some troubles and misfortunes. My hopes are this is the start of something great with the project again as there's seriously so much potential behind it.
A new game! Yes, a new game has released on the hive blockchain called Rise Of The Pixels Which will cost you around $11 worth of hive to get started in the game. This would get you a Licenses ($8 roughly 22 hive currently) and a 8 bit pack which has some other perk cards in it about 8.5 hive currently)
Not a bad price to get up and running in this new game. Personally I haven't gotten involved in it myself but I plan to buy in tonight. (A lot of my focus has been on Splinterlands as I only have 16 of my 142 plots online mainly because I don't have enough DEC to stake on land to get it up and running. I need around 4 million more DEC which is $4,000 so you can see why a bit of a delay there)
I'm delaying my node setups until the new year mainly because I know things are going to be busy for the next few weeks with family visiting etc and I want to make sure I put the amount of time and learning I need on this front.
My plans are to run a Hive-Engine node, a Hive node at the onset of 2024. Soon after I'll work towards a 3speak encoder node and a SPS validator node. A total of 4 nodes to support the hive blockchain all around.
On top of that we are super stacking Hive powered up and pushing faster towards the 150,000 $LEO goal. Outside of that Land is a priority for me at the moment as I think I'll be able to push a good 400+ Daily SPS from land with what I currently have. But not only that I want to be ready for buildings and liquidity pools which is also a great segment point to say I have been and am starting to move a good deal of funds into liquidity pools again on Hive Engine but also on CubDeFi
With all of that being said I'd have to say we are getting some nice development happening even during the holiday season which shocked me a bit. My plan is 2024 to start integrating myself even more into hive through running nodes which will then branch out into running my own game, token and application.
