Just three days into the 60 day airdrop and I have say so far I'm impressed. While yes CUB went through a hyper inflation period and dropped off CUB itself has honest been pretty stable in terms of its price and passive revenue which I for one have to say is pretty awesome.
Polycub is what they are calling a DeFi 2.0 project. Which takes everything learned from CUB as well as various other DeFi platforms and creates a unique blend on the Polygon(Matic) blockchain called PolyCub.

For myself I'm mainly focused in two areas are right which I'll go over in this article. Of course it seems like a favorite amongst many is the stable coin kingdom DAI-USDT-USDC which currently has a 1,165% APY!
For me know I'm in for the long haul which means my first option that would do me well in the introduction of what is called xpolycub.
Think of xPolyCub seen here > https://polycub.com/staking just like you would CUB Kingdom here > https://cubdefi.com/kingdoms
xPolyCub acts as a kingdom pool where you exchanges your PolyCUB into xPolyCub to get your share in the pool.
At the moment of writing this it now takes 4.18Pcub per each 1xPcub which is way up from when I pooled mine in at 1.1 rate. I expect this to keep moving upwards as more people get in on it. The value of xPolyCub comes from two places. The normal kingdom aspect of building earnings via APR but also in the 50% early withdrawal penalty that happens on Farms. This most likely is the biggest one at the moment as many are eager to withdraw their funds at first and cash in. This 50% penalty then goes back into giving xPolyCub more value.
From how it reads the sooner you get in on this one the better as the ratio will continue to climb as more fees are collected. For example I put in 20 xPolyCub and if I withdrew them now I believe I would get about 83.6 PolyCub currently valued at $356 which is FAR higher then if I would have just sold out my Polycub from the airdrop which would have landed me roughly $85 at the moment.
This new aspect of Polycub is one of the largest differences from when CUB launched. It allows the platform to build it's own pools at a much faster rate from early extractions. While I don't fully grasp it all and the full details of it yet this is what I understand of it so far.
My other area for investment at the moment is within farms. I did this upon the launch of CUBDeFi a year ago and those farms to this day continue to pump out funds for me in CUB which I then pool into the Kingdom for now. For me a farm is a place to dump funds that I know I most likely will NEVER touch again and instead will live off the accumulated APR it generates.
One of my favorite at the moment is pleo-wmatic simply because I had some LEO on hand and also had extra Matic from when I stocked it from my trades leading up to the launch. For me these where "extra" funds that I don't mind if I lose it all but I believe it will make more than what I put in. The pleo-wmatic farm at the moment is generating a nice 3,000% but I'll most likely look into Polycub-USDC here soon as I don't really care to touch Ethereum itself. Those fees just turn me off big time lol
As of writing this Polycub now holds a TVL of just over 5 million which puts it at half of what CUB is at the moment. This does feel like it's lower than the launch of CUB however it's still a decent amount. It's also a decent amount because I feel the Polygon network DEFI pools are much smaller than Binance and FAR smaller than Ethereum for sure. However the beautiful thing about all of this is the closer connection it does establish with Ethereum which holds over 80% of the TVL of DeFi platforms.
I'm curious to see how things play out over the next two months of this airdrop and what we can expect after that. I'm sure I'll learn a bunch more of the inner workings of Polycub and even CUB to be able to provide you with more detailed articles and information to come.
