@geekgirl, thanks for your comment. Yes, I believe that the tax harvesting may have been a factor, it’s impossible to know for sure how much. Last time we had days of sideways the volume just dried up

If you read Misha’s book you will see he mentioned the .com boom and how a lot of the companies from that era don`t even exist anymore. Steem is something way more than just a white paper and has survived
