I know that we keep learning everyday and one of the happiest things is how I learn from our mentor, Brother Eli. After thinking about this, I found out that he was right and made sense. It won’t prove that Jesus is Christ if he died on a Friday and resurrected on a Sunday.
There is something called Semana Santa and it is the same as the Holy week. Let’s think about it. Does this mean that in a year, there is just one Holy week and every other week is unholy? Does this mean that for every other week, we can commit sins, do what we like, eat what we like including what God didn’t ask us to eat? Is that it?
So, that idea doesn’t seem right. It doesn’t make any sense. Does the idea of the Holy week as people to be holy for just one week in a year? If yes, that isn’t ideal enough because God wants us to be holy everyday of our lives.
Luke 9:23 tells us that; And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
Daily! We should take up our cross daily. We should show up in the holy realm daily. Did you see or observe anything like a week or once a year there? No! God wants it daily.
It is your decision but God has made a rule and if you really want to follow what he has asked us to do, we have to be holy everyday of our lives. To be closer to God, we should be holy everyday and do just what he wants or expects from us.
