200 Follower Milestone…To The Moon!
I recently came across an article in the Harvard Business Review about the power of small wins. Celebrating small wins is not only a good way to track the progress that you're making so far, it is also acts as a great source of motivation to keep working towards your end goal. Personally, my end goal on Steemit is to consistently produce quality content that a LOT of people will want to read. The fact that I’ve hit 200+ followers really gives me the motivation to keep going and I just wanted to say thank you!
What I Have Learned So Far
I went into Steemit looking to fulfill a niche that I felt existed. But my month-long journey so far has been truly eye-opening. I realised that I did not have to be so one-dimensional, I could be more versatile with my blog and address topics that I did not think I would be even addressing. You’ll see that I did not celebrate a 100 follower milestone, and that’s because I was still stuck in my narrow mindset. It has truly been a refreshing experience to grow and develop on my Steemit journey. I am so excited to see what my blog will be like in a year’s time.
Community Appreciation
The support that I have received for my blog has only been possible because of the great communities that I have been fortunate enough to be a part of on Steemit. I urge anybody that isn’t a part of a community to go out there and join some, because Steemit really is all about the people.
