Of all the different butterflies, I've most often seen whites sitting in a group somewhere "consuming" something. Here they are sitting on the path by the pond, and whether they are sucking on melted dog poop or a dead mouse, I really can't tell. There's just something there, so they're sitting on the sand and putting it in their proboscis.
