I like to go to breed shows. Breeding is a popular hobby in the Czech Republic. Pigeons are judged according to the same standards as canaries or rabbits. There is a Czech proverb saying that "pigeons are a fortune in the air" but it doesn't sound as good in English as it does in the original.
