The best photos of starlings I have are from Romania. I had accommodation with a garden in Vadu. The roof was made of reeds, sparrows nested in it, starlings sat in the trees 4 meters from me. I don't remember if there were birdhouses or if the starlings also lived in a cavity under the roof.
