I agree sleeping birds are cool, and sometimes can be an identification challenge. As a birder I like to try to identify the photos I see to species. It can be really helpful to know where the photos are taken in order to try to figure out their identity. Your spoonbill is likely a Eurasian Spoonbill. The smaller waders are tougher, maybe Dunlin?
