Hello traveling friends, I stopped by this community to leave you a new post! Today I traveled to the African continent where I spent an excellent vacation in Morocco, one of the things that caught my attention about this Muslim country is its pleasant weather in spring, it was around: 26-30 degrees and of course if you come from Europe it is something which is of great value because many countries in Europe at the height of spring are cold! my first stop was here in the waterfalls of (d'Ouzoud), join me in this experience to see the best of Morocco.🌏🚩

An all terrain adventure 🚩🌄/ Una aventura todo terreno🧭🌏

It was literally an all-terrain adventure and quite tiring, I will not focus much on the Moroccan culture because I have many posts about all my experiences here in Africa! However, the activities in the form of a Tour are those that "save" your trip since, as you can see, the country is very arid, quite orange, that geographical situation led the population to create destinations and tourist routes to generate money! I want to clarify that just as there are arid zones, you also get one of the highest mountains in Africa in the "atlas" region! And of course it is covered in snow, so you would never say that a country like this is visited for snowboarding.🚩🌊🌏

An oasis🌄

I always wanted to visit Africa for its mysticism, its wild habitat and all those things, but Morocco was an absolutely strange thing, supposedly it is one of the safest and "cheapest" but the reality is different. Therefore when you do tours of this genre you must be prepared that everyone wants to get money from you! That makes the experience a bit boring. It's one thing to give because you're born to give and another is to be forced!🌍🧠

The most traumatic part of the adventure is the 3.5-hour trip to reach the waterfall that is located in the central area of Morocco, for this we must travel by bus to the town of "Tanaghmeilt" which is located in the mountainous region called: "atlas ", the waterfall is located in the "middle atlas", the trip is a bit heavy for children so I probably recommend you rent a car and stop but be careful, Moroccans drive quite badly xD, and the streets don't help🍍🌏.

Our bus arrived at the village that I mentioned before and then we walked for about a kilometer and a little, on the way we will learn a little about the waterfall, about Morocco, about the culture! The tour normally includes a guide who will be your translator in several languages, and well, I don't have any criticism of ours, he was a very special, intelligent and helpful young man! Of course, at the end, remember to give him a tip! In these photos you can see how water filtration occurs in the mountains.🍍🌏🌊

While we walked the sun and the heat was intense but I am used to hot places but my wife was bothered by the heat! be prepared with plenty of water, cool clothes and hats, footwear is also important to avoid slipping, the terrain is dangerous, many fell on the way, you can also see the products they sell in the area that seems untrue but they are cheap, in reality it is what The only cheap consumer products I saw in the country xD🌏🚩

Arrival at the waterfall🚩🌄/ Llegada a la cascada🧭🌏

As you can see the waterfall is quite beautiful and when you are here the environment changes and the temperature drops, I imagine product of the spray from the waterfall, this waterfall is known as: "Ouzoud" and is located among the largest in Africa and Even the second highest in Africa with more than 110 meters high, the name of the waterfall means in "Berber" a local language "olive" and it is that in the vicinity of the waterfall several olive trees grow adorning the landscape that for me it looks like an oasis!🚩🍍🌊

traditional boat ride🌄

The tour we did also included a short walk through the waterfall for 20 euros. I recommend you do it. I think they are one of those experiences that you have once in a lifetime. At the top of the waterfall there are several mills that the local population still uses. to create various types of food🌍🧠

playing with the monkeys🚩🌄/ Jugando con los monos🧭🌏

For me it was my favorite activity when visiting the waterfall and one of my favorite activities on Moroccan soil, the local monkeys are trained to play with you, you don't have to bring anything but I recommend you do it to give the monkeys something so you can photograph them The locals will want to sell you peanuts "pay what you want" but then they get upset if you give them little so it's better to bring your own food to attract the attention of the monkeys, they are not aggressive.🍍🌊

A lunch under the waterfall🚩🌄/ Un almuerzo debajo de la cascada🧭🌏

alt

Finally, and to close the experience with a "gold medal", a traditional Moroccan lunch in another post I will explain better what it is about but it was some chicken skewers, and for my wife a typical meal: "tajine", you must pay the Food apart, it costs 150 Dirhams, that is, approximately 15 euros.🍍🌊🚩
