Another new adventure is coming, fellow travelers! For it I had to make a long journey of approximately 20km passing through several different villages, I didn't count them but I would say more than 10 until we reached a village of less than 200 people called: "Mastrontas" then we had to make a detour of 2km until reach one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Portugal that, despite not being very high, the landscape compensates for that lack of height! Enjoy my experience and enjoy the best landscapes in Portugal.ππββοΈ

My walk started in the city of Lousa which is popular for its mountains and caves, I got here by public transport which is very accessible, then I walked in the direction of Negrais which is a village that is more than 8km from here as you can. See, most of my walk was on the road so the terrain is not complicated at all, however, don't be fooled because some of the villages we will pass through have a beautiful landscape which makes you enjoy your journey! I would go through Fontelas, which I had visited before, but my desire to break my personal record did not want me to go there and I would go further! I would like to walk more than 40km in a day.πππ
The landscape is fantastic to see what the typical European Mediterranean forest looks like and how well cared for and protected our Portuguese forests are! We give a lot of importance to tourism so our country is full of hundreds maybe thousands of trails and each one has something different to show you, this one here is nice because we see what several villages dedicated to agronomy look like and we see many crops of all kinds of crops. vegetables and fruits, the landscape clearly changes depending on the season of the year, however Mafra is known for being very humid even in summer!ππ§π
The main tributary that irrigates the entire area or many villages is due to condensation from the mountain and ends up reaching the Loures River which depends on the time of year to remain in circulation, however there are areas where there is always water, it is beautiful because shapes and decorates the landscape of several of the villages you pass through! Up to this point I think I walked about 6km and I only intended to have lunch when I got to the waterfall, it was more than 4 hours walking!πππ
