You know, I just found this, but I'm glad I'm not the only to feel it's okay.
I've noticed something though, when I self-upvote, the reward pool goes down instead of going up. I think someone auto downvotes me when I self-upvote or they are trying to incentivise us to not self-upvote, which is total bull. We should be free to upvote as we please. I mean, my 50% upvote is just 0.01. Like, let me have that extra cent.
