Everyday, a good number of us complain about the fact that, we do not have a lot of money, for those people who receive monthly wages, there is always one complain or the other all the time about funds insufficiency, but money comes in everyday, so what exactly could be the problem?
From the day I learnt about personal financial assessment, I have noticed significant change in my spending habit. We are always careful to do things appropriately at work because we do not want to receive any form of query from our boss, especially when we fall under the accounting department, but while we are so good at ensuring that our boss money is appropriately managed, we seem to care less about our own spending habit.

Personal financial assessment is extremely significant as it helps you understand where your earning’s are going to, where you need to cut down certain spending habits and what areas you need to focus more on.
Personal financial assessment could be done either manually or digitally, I do not have a properly functional device, so I carry out my personal financial assessment routine manually, using a personal jotter and a pen. With every money I make, I write it down and then write down every penny spent as well.

At the end of the week, I carefully go over how much I have made and how the money was spent. With this been done, I am able to focus on where exactly my money is going to, I do not have to assume anything. Although, I feel really sad that most of the earnings are currently going into sorting out debts and medical bills, but I am also grateful that it’s been sorted gradually. When you do not know where your money is going to, you get worried and unnecessarily stressed, you feel everything is unnecessarily difficult when in real sense, you are the one actually spending more than necessary on areas that may not even be worth it.
I believe so much that now that I have picked up this habit, it would not be so difficult for me to keep up with it even when I begin to earn much more (hopefully soon, smiles). This is my own story on how I stay updated with personal financial records, I will like to know what you think about it. I appreciate your response and support very much, thanks a lot for your time.
