This year has been a lot of roller-coaster for me, it is one of those years that I have really been down, and tried different things that didn't turn out as expected and whenever this happens, my mind quickly turns back to some good opportunities I should have maximized more effectively, but a wise strong lady always says to me- If you want to feel bad about some of the mistakes you have made in the past, by all means, go ahead and feel bad about them because those were your fault, but after the brief moments of feeling down, what do you consider as the next line of action?

These words always ring in my ears whenever I feel bad about a particular occurrence, so on this faithful day, I had my hopes really high about a job for my elder sister, it was our last resort and she had put every energy and skill into ensuring she performed well during the interview, unfortunately, her application was declined at the last stage and I cried out my heart as I have never done before, that was supposed to be a channel to help us fix some financial issues and we sincerely had it all planned out, my sister was terribly confused about what next to do after this.

Alone in a corner of my room, after crying, I picked up my mobile phone and contacted a few friends for any good job opportunity they know and most of them had nothing to recommend, the few available recommendations were occupied and some of them have gone on break for the year already (If you are reading this and you know any available way to get a good paying remote job please kindly recommend in the comment section, thanks).
After my sister had cried, I went to her and asked about the next line of action, she had just lost her business and now the job she was looking up to was gone, while we still have debts that needs to be cleared as soon as possible, her response made me smile, she held my face in her hands and said to me- We will come out of this stronger than we can imagine, I don't know how it is going to happen, but surely, it would happen.

Those statements gave me so much confidence and hope, I held her hands as we prayed together as that was all we could do, I really want to see my sister smile, she has been through so much already and since she has started re-strategizing, I believe things would turn out well soon. Thanks for reading once again and happy holidays everyone.
