Why do I want to join #thealliance?

I've joined Steemit in July 2017, hoping to find an online community that suits my needs. Soon, I see the enormous potential of this social media platform. However, I quickly felt myself drowning in something very large and at first did tend to make me reluctant.
How do I hear about #thealliance & Why do I want to be a part of that community?
Recently, I have been posting more diligently, and I see that the community has been formed for several months now. One of them, #thealliance, brings together a number of people I've been following, for years now, on other social media networks.
This reinforces my intention to sign up for this community because I already know that members share with me a number of values such as mutual support, and post quality original content. Another reason why I am willing to join is I believe my "community type" should be run by people who care about each other, the quality of posts, engagements, and the spirit of genuine help when needed. I know that this community will give this to me.
If I become a part of society, it is the kind of values I will obey and defend.
