People say hold strong you will escape the darkness. For some reason their words ring hollow in my ears. They are not in the shadows with me. They can't even begin to understand my pain. It's uniquely mine. Yours is only yours. So words won't change anything in my situation. I suppose they mean well. But i get the feeling that a lot is the proverbial utterances from normal folk. They say it because is what people do when someone is in a dark place. They can't bring the light but they can keep trying. I won't stop them even if I could.
