Senit (Bread Board) Construction Phase / Senit(Ekmek Tahtası) Yapım Aşaması
Hello everyone, In this content, I will try to talk about the making of senit (bread board). You've probably heard the word "senit" for the first time. It is generally known by this name in our region. I named it the breadboard for general meaning. This wooden structure pastry, which is found in the homes of most of us, is used when making a roll. However, since this product you see in the picture is large, it is mostly used in bread making.

Bu içeriğimde senit(ekmek tahtası) yapımından bahsetmeye çalışacağım. Muhtemelen "senit" kelimesini ilk defa duydunuz. Bizim yörede genellikle bu isimle biliniyor. Genel bir anlam ifade etmesi için ekmek tahtası diye isimlendirdim. Hemen hemen birçoğumuzun evinde bulunan bu ahşap yapı börek, açma yaparken kullanılır. Ancak resimde gördüğünüz bu ürün büyük olduğundan dolayı daha çok ekmek yapımında kullanılır.
After a short definition, I would like to touch on the construction stages. My uncle's profession is a carpenter. Therefore, he is involved with woodwork. About twenty of these products were ordered for him. He asked me for help during the construction phase, and I did not refuse his request. We preferred walnut wood for the products to be robust. We had the necessary amount of material on hand. We cut the trees to certain sizes on the line. I arranged the cut materials in a suitable place for them to rest. After the cutting work was finished, we took a break.

After the break, we went through the planer one by one to straighten and square the cut materials. After the mitering process, we went through the thickness machine so that all the cut materials were the same size. With this process, the rough part of the work is finished. We glued the ready materials with wood glue. We used a torture device to fuse the materials. After waiting for about two hours, the materials became suitable for cutting. We passed each piece through a circular saw to be 60 cm.
Moladan sonra kesilen malzemeleri düzeltmek ve gönyeye almak için planya makinesinden tek tek geçirdik. Gönye işleminden sonra kesilen malzemelerin hepsinin aynı ölçüde olması için kalınlık makinesinden geçirdik. Bu işlemle beraber işin kaba kısmı bitti. Hazır hâle gelen malzemeleri ağaç tutkalı ile yapıştırdık. Malzemelerin kaynaşması için işkence aleti kullandık. Yaklaşık iki saat bir beklemenin ardından malzemeler kesim için uygun hale geldi. Her bir parçayı 60 santim olacak şekilde daire testereden geçirdik.
After this process, we used the sanding machine to make the boards smooth. After the sanding process was finished, we adjusted and screwed the legs of the bread board.
Bu işlemden sonra tahtaların pürüzsüz hale gelmesi için zımpara makinasını kullandık. Zımpara işlemi de bittikten sonra senidin(ekmek tahtası) ayaklarını ayarlayıp vidaladık.
