I continue my Istanbul adventure from where I left off. I try to visit different places at every opportunity. However, I sometimes have trouble due to the transportation problem of Istanbul. Five, six km of road sometimes takes an hour, I am not exaggerating. If there was no transportation problem, I would spend much more time on the trip. Anyway, in this post I will talk about Hagia Sophia, one of the precious monuments of Istanbul.

İstanbul serüvenine kaldığım yerden devam ediyorum. Her fırsatta farklı yerleri gezmeye çalışıyorum. Ancak İstanbul'un ulaşım probleminden dolayı bazen sıkıntı yaşıyorum. Beş, altı km 'lik yol bazen abartmıyorum bir saati buluyor. Ulaşım sorunu olmasa geziye çok daha fazla zaman ayırırım. I mentioned the Cafer Aga madrasah in a previous post. About ten minutes after I left there, I reached the Hagia Sophia. It was as crowded as it could be, but instead of going back after all that trouble, I got in line. After about half an hour, I went inside. It was also extremely crowded inside.
Bir önceki postta Cafer Ağa medresesinden bahsetmiştim. Oradan ayrıldıktan yaklaşık on dakika sonra Ayasofya'nın bulunduğu yere ulaştım. Olabildiğince kalabalık vardı ancak onca zahmetin ardından geri dönmek yerine sıraya girdim. Yaklaşık yarım saat sonra içeriye girdim. İçerisi de aşırı şekilde kalabalıktı.
Spiritually, the atmosphere was extraordinary. Architecture and art were at a very high level. Since its architectural structure is very diverse, those who want to learn about it should do a detailed research. Apart from that, it will be much more effective to visit such places with a guide.
Manevi olarak olağanüstü bir atmosfer vardı. Mimari ve sanat çok üst seviyede idi. Mimari yapısı çok çeşitli olduğu için öğrenmek isteyenler için detaylı bir araştırma yapması gerekiyor. Bunun haricinde böyle yerleri rehber eşliğinde gezmek çok daha etkili olacaktır.
The lighting system also adds a different ambiance to the interior. Especially the lights hitting the wall make the environment more vivid. The embroidery on the ceiling is the same way. In short, it is a perfect structure in every aspect. It is impossible to see this place and not be impressed.
Işıklandırma sistemi de içeriye farklı bir ambiyans katmış. Özellikle duvara vuran ışıklar ortamın daha canlı olmasını sağlıyor. Tavandaki işlemeler de aynı şekilde. Kısaca her yönüyle mükemmel bir yapı. Burayı görüpte etkilenmemek elde değil.
Hagia Sophia is frequented by foreign tourists as well as locals. I wanted to ask a question to a person about the museum but I realized later that he was a foreigner. To be honest, his face resembled a Turkish person. I said "sorry" and wished him a good trip. 🙂
Ayasofya yerli insanların yanında yabancı turistlerin de uğrak noktası olmuş durumda. Müzeyle alakalı bir kişiye soru sormak istedim ancak kendisinin yabancı olduğunu sonradan anladım. Açıkçası siması Türk insanını andırıyordu. Kendisine "sorry" deyip iyi gezmeler dileklerinde bulundum. 🙂
In a small area they sell books about Hagia Sophia, religious knowledge, etc. The prices are also very reasonable. Those who plan to visit and those who are curious can stop by.
There is also the upper part of Hagia Sophia, but I couldn't visit there because it was too crowded. I will spare time for it in the future.
It attracted the attention of children as well as adults. Many children were playing inside. Apart from that, Hagia Sophia also has a cat. It even appeared on social media many times before. I had the opportunity to see that cat. It was wandering around inside on its own.
Küçük bir alanda Ayasofya, dini bilgiler vs. konular hakkında kitaplar satılıyor. Fiyatları da gayet uygun. Ziyaret etmeyi düşünenler ve merakı olanlar uğrayabilir.
Ayasofya'nın üst kısmı da varmış ancak çok kalabalık olduğu için orayı gezemedim. İlerleyen zamanlarda oraya ayrıca zaman ayıracağım.
Yetişkinlerin yanında çocuklarında ilgisini çekmiş. İçerde birçok çocuk oyun oynuyordu. Bunun haricinde Ayasofya'nın birde kedisi var. Hatta daha önce birçok kez sosyal medyaya düştü. O kediyi görme imkanım oldu. İçerde kendi halinde dolanıp duruyordu.
The historical fountain on the outside of Hagia Sophia was built in accordance with this structure. You can meet your water needs etc.
I left Hagia Sophia after about half an hour of sightseeing. I got very tired due to the intensity inside and immediately threw myself into a nearby cafe and drank tea. It was a nice excitement for me. Thank you for reading.
