Today's practice is a hand study captured in a simple yet expressive gesture. Hands are one of the most challenging parts of the human body to draw because every finger has its own structure, proportions, and movement.
For this piece, I focused on clean line work and cross-hatching to build form and create depth.
Every study like this sharpens my understanding of anatomy and brings me a step closer to drawing more confident and natural looking hands.
