This drawing is a study of the human eye, focusing on expression, detail, and the beauty of simple line work. I used fine strokes and cross-hatching to build the eyelashes, eyelid, iris, ad surrounding shadows.
The loose construction lines add a raw, sketch-like character while still keeping the eye expressive and realistic.
For me, the eye is more than just a feature of the face , it can carry emotion, curiosity, and a story without saying a word. This piece was a simple practice in observing details and turning them into something meaningful.
