Warm greetings Hivers
I decided to keep this drawing simple but still give the face enough character.
I solely focused on the eyes, facial expression, and the way the hands frame the head, while using hatching to build the shadows and give the portrait more depth.
The loose line work also gives it that raw, hand-drawn feel that I really like.
