Well, you have officially sent me down a rabbit hole. Those videos might be a thing with me for a while.
I dove a little into 'police practice changes' yesterday. There are things that really need to be changed. There have been several scholarly type studies, the one I checked was from 2016. Suffice it to say that things haven't gotten any better since then.
Maybe a lie. Several PDs have made some changes. One of the most common is making officer complaints public record instead of a deep, dark secret. It's clearly a step in the right direction.
Did you know that to be a barber in Florida you are required to log 1200 hours of instruction before you can be certified? If you want to be a cop you have to have 700 hours of instruction. A hell of a lot more people die at the hands of cops in Florida than barbers. Just sayin'
I'm going to quit. Most of Hive is inaccessible to me right now, Hive discord says it's a node level problem but I can't log in at all and have to type this response in my note taker app. So I can't see your post as I write the response. I'll do better the next time, promise. I think I'm going to get a haircut today. I feel pretty safe.
