Dang. I'm glad you told me how easy it was to go out and about, cause I need to go to the dog food store today or tomorrow. Sam gets just plain surly when his food bowl is empty.
I gassed up a couple of weeks ago and it was $2.56. I just checked and the price right now at my favorite Chevron is $2.26. I'm sure I can buy a gallon of 'off brand' drinking water for around $1.50. So, I guess I'll just drink the water and burn the gasoline for now.
I don't tip 'window workers'. Not that I think they are overpaid, mind you, but the contract they accepted is to do just what they do. It's been over a month since I've had take out anyway. I'm probably just about due for a big old nasty cheeseburger and fries. Our 'fresh air' Mexican place is closed for the duration so I'd have to travel a ways to get a real burrito.
Our stay at home seems to be working, though it might be hard for me to judge. 90% of the snowbirds have gone home to get sick instead of staying here so traffic is wildly reduced with or without Corona beer or virus.
I do note that 'yard workers' are essential here in our neighborhood. Most snowbirds either have work done just when they leave or just when they come back. I'm guessing those guys don't have a bit of trouble taking cash....
