I have a neighbor down the street that calls me Bill. She knows Sam just fine but thinks my name is Bill and I don't really know how to slip into casual conversation that my name is really Tom.

They are from Wyoming and have wintered here at the very end of my street for a few years. They have one of the coolest dogs ever that is getting really old and could leave us at any time. She brought me home made treats for Christmas so I guess I'll just go on being Bill...
