Magnificent. I think that's the perfect word for the photographs and the scenery.

I'm slightly familiar with the area, I grew up in Eastern Washington and occasionally foraged that far north. Mostly because my father felt that Lake Louise was the prettiest place he'd ever seen.

I'm glad you told us when the fire went through. 17 years? Maybe half way to reforestation? Maybe the trees are a little slower that far north and at that elevation? I've carefully watched (or maybe noticed) some areas regrow. I love watching the changes...
