Not too much worry about the local playground for me. Yuma County Arizona does not have a single public park. We are heathens. We used to have a County park, and I used it a lot. It's the shooting range and the county sold it to Arizona Game and Fish because they are better suited to administer it.
I have been considering starting an ongoing series of posts re: The Yuma Elephant Tree Project which exists on facebook. Some of the photos would be mine, some used by permission from my friend Erv-the botanist behind the project. I'll sweet guarantee you that Elephant Trees do not exist with civilization. Not even a little. There is a strenuous hike involved for every one of the buggars.
Would that be appropriate for Outdoors? Maybe I could even convince Erv to write a post or two. That would be epic. Him with an account and being a published author and all.
