I know where that's at! I've been there in a lot warmer weather :) We had a long rider meet up at Arrowhead Lake and a few of us rode to Mammoth and hiked around for a few hours. There are some seriously great roads to ride up there...

My brother and I used USArmy surplus ponchos to glissade on Mt. Rainier Washington. We beat hell out of the ponchos (fortunately no rain on our trip up or down) but had more fun than should be allowed.
