So we here in Arizona have strip malls and strip clubs but draw the line at strip mines. We dig enormous pits and stack tailings to the moon. Progress at it's best. Come to think of it, some of our strip malls would qualify as pits...

I think dollar stores are a blight on our society. People flock to them because everything is cheap-but are incapable of doing the math that shows that you are better off elsewhere on a 'per the ounce' basis.
