I don't know how long it's going to last, but it's good to be back. Always good to see you my friend!

Well, Hell. I'm actually doing quite well. Most of the time. I'm seriously struggling with getting fucking old. Lotta shit I can no longer do. But I can put my face in the wind for a few hundred miles-Lotta

I rode my MC to Julian, CA. yesterday. Same sort of motivation...

I actually don't think you are the devil. I don't exactly think you are a candidate for sainthood, either. Like most of us, somewhere in between. You've been here a long time and done more good than harm,

That'd be a serious fun trip. Many of the same folks I'd like to visit with (except me, of course. I'm old hat :) ) If I got to Witty's (and I will one day) I'd probably have to head on up to Carolina

I don't know how to tell you this, but that Christmas thing will get worse. When you get to be retired you don't even get the bonus of time off. Takes the very last of the shine off of that turd, as it

Ahahahahaha. Great spread! We here in Yuma have the Newtonian (equal but opposite) formula. Low speeds and every bit of the smoke contained. A surprisingly large fraction of the population seems to fear

Oh, and one more thing. I don't know from shinola what smells good and what doesn't. If a pretty girl that I actually want to be around recommends it, that'd be enough for me. And I do like the smell of

Ahahahahaha. I occasionally cave. Generally for things I didn't know I needed. :) I gotta admit, I've never had a hat stretched. I've got a good friend that owns a pair of boot stretchers that I've used

I hate to be the resident asshole, but, you know. It's what I do best. Can you say 'profiling'? I had a 'random check' at Walmart. I showed my receipt and told him if he wanted to dig in my bags he needed

'even if you don't have a job'. You realize, I hope, that a month from now that's likely to be 'especially since you don't have a job.' When 'leadership' gets to the point of quantifying everything there

Ugggghhhh. Moving. I've had some good and some bad. Probably the most epic bad was the one where I put the fully decorated Christmas tree in the front of the truck so we could have it in the new place

Well, hell. Pretty well stated and articulate. Fuckin' A (did your small town use that one? Where I grew up it was a thing.) I have a FB account. I check it every day, it's the only way I can keep track

An interesting look my friend. I think you are worrying too much about impending glasses. It's just another thing to get used to, like paying the water bill or driving the speed limit when you license

You won't know this name, but football coach Mike Leach was being interviewed by Jeremy Schaff (both are highly respected) as they walked from his home to his office, about a 20 minute walk. Schaff asked

I guess I could occasionally be called an escapee. But it's not enough... I am once again considering selling my house and everything related to it-to fund a pickup/trailer combination where I'd blissfully

Topping compound is your friend. My best ex wife was an artist with topping compound on uneven walls and ceilings. I still had LOTS of sanding to do, but she consistently got way closer to level than I

Wow! How incredibly cool. I'd never heard of AJ, but his father was the poster boy for "One Brief Shining Moment". Damn he was just way too good to go so soon... So now I have a new musical rabbit

Cool Sunflowers! These aren't the same, by any means, but they are pretty darn tall. I was sitting on my trailer waiting for my Covid test in Pilot Rock, Oregon. Yes, I had covid while I was travelling

Hey ya. Glad to see you are still hanging around this part of the world... I have one! Sort of. I have one (Rival) that is at least 20 years old. It looks just like that model would have then :) The other
