Lately your boy has been going down another set of rabbit wholes. I’ve talked about me growing interest in working with data and my recent completion of googles data analytics certification program.
It was a great introduction to data analytics, but it left me looking for ways to polish my skills so that I could apply them to real life projects. So I decided to join DATA CAMP.
They have skills tracts for data analytics and data science that I’m using to build my skill set. And this is a nice step up in difficulty level from the google certification course. They go into a lot more detail on the R programing language that I was introduced to earlier which I feel is a good next step, but I really just need that experience working with different datasets more than anything.
And I think I may have found a opportunity to get that experience. I ran across an application online for a data analyst that I think I’d be able to handle. I have bachelors and experience with R, SQL, and Excel!
I’ve never done an interview for a tech position, I’ve heard they’re a little different than what I’m used to, but if I can get the interview and nail it you all might be seeing more Tako data posts here pretty soon.
