I am younger, but I have never seen a world shut down like it has over a virus. So I can firmly say I have never operated in this environment, and most people can say that. I am suppose to take over our construction company later this year, and trying to find a valuation on anything in this market is tough.

Usually it is based on sales and profit, but all that has been up ended. Work is coming from all different places, and a lot of the business relationships have moved on. Either by force or by choice, so in a way it is almost like starting over again.

You need to take that into account when buying a company, and for example most time you usually buy the company for a multiple of the sales or profit. Well do to the uncertainty that multiple has been shrinking. https___specialsimages.forbesimg.com_imageserve_1179848673_0x0.jpg
