This year out of all might be the most interesting for taxes. As you have a lot of people with unemployment benefits, stimulus money that has not been paid yet, and stimulus money that has been paid.
For me I have huge medical expenses again as we had another kid, and getting all that together seems to take forever. We also did not get the second stimulus yet as my accountant seems to always put my old house address on the taxes, I don't believe he believes in updates. But hopefully that will get rectified this year.
I am either going to owe a ton, or I will be just at even.... I usually don't get refunds as I never really over pay for the taxes, as I like to hold my money, and not let the government hold it for me. I do have some state credits for some donations, and hope I will have a refund there, but I will not hold my breath too long. As they seem to always find a way to get money out of me.
