at the moment, the top little onions form. once these top onions gain weight, the stems bend over and they will then root nearby, hence creating the "walking" motion.

happily sharing space with other plants, Artichoke, Mint, cabbages in this case, they have nearly doubled in hight in just over a week, since the sun broke out of the clouds.
