I have been plain busy lately and there is a lot happening on many levels. I will try to share in an orderly manner that will hopefully also help me digest it all myself.
In the association I belong to "Um Milhão de árvores" (one million trees) https://1milhaoarvores.blogspot.com/, we have received the trees for this season and we have been sorting them out, distributing them among different entities and land owners where they will be planted.
we get these trees through a cooperation with a UK based company that receives funds from other companies that seek to improve their public environmental image. these trees are bought from nurseries locally in Portugal and are delivered to us for no cost at all.
Our local farmers market day. I normally sell only trees I produce on the farm, but now diversifying with some wooden object I totally enjoy making. started with some boot jacks, hiking sticks and tool boxes.
I was sitting there, enjoying the sun and carving my sticks.
Our original tree trunk nest, that was previously used by a pair of Blue Tits twice, and then by a Bumblebee, now being upgraded to be out of the reach of our neighbor´s cats.

There is now enough space for everyone !
Finally sourced some copper wire and made my first Lakhovsky coil around one of our Olive trees. this Olive suffers from what is locally called olive tuberculosis (Bacterium savastanoi).

If this experiment shows good results I will then expand to other Olive trees affected. out of 105 olive trees, I estimate about a third suffer to some degree. it is important to note that we have 3 different varieties of Olives out of which, just one suffers from this disease.
My first ever 3D printed objects have arrived and tested to help in the making of electroculture spirals.
this spiral will help this Carob to better withstand our frosty mornings.
having been hired to prune a large number of olive trees on a big property, I now cover the windshield in order to avoid the frost that accumulates overnight.
magnets that I already sources for electroculture antennas, hold the plastic sheet in place.
As more and more materials are being sourced, I now go into production mode and hope to finally move from theory to practicality and hope to be able to soon see and report on real results.
