This post is partially due to the "Itch" as @samstonehill puts it and part due to my desire to share so much that is happening.
This photo was taken on April 22nd. just after sawing the Three Sisters in this tub. you can read all about it in this post: Three Sisters
to see what it looks like today, skip to the end, or just read on.
as we place a steady foot into the Age of Aquarius, it was not surprising we should see water related issues happening.
after nearly 5 years, our float valve in our main deposit, started failing which resulted in the loss of unknown quantities of our precious water.
you can read all about our water system setup here: Water Management
luckily, I was around when that happened and when hearing the pump pumping forever, I got to check the problem.
the deposit was completely full but the float did not cut the pump and so water was overflowing.
this has now been addressed, hopefully for another 5 years.
the copious amounts of rain this year combined with very comfortable growth temperatures have brought us an amazing flow of abundance. Raspberries, Peaches, Japanese Plums, Garlic (small but potent).
due to all this abundance we also enjoyed pleasant visits.
late at dusk one evening, a fox came to eat from the peaches that fell around the tree, while early the next morning, it was a Mongoose under the Plum tree.
this Fraxinus Ornus (flowering Ash) that I planted in memory of my late mom is doing extremely well. I suspect it has to do with the intention I´ve put into the act.
you can read about this commemorative project here:
Homage to the Mothers
the favorable conditions this year also benefit many flowering plants. Hydrangea.
and our extremely perfumed Honeysuckle.
seeds germinate everywhere. this Acorn just found a spot on the nursery floor.
and this Apricot took only about a week to come into the light.
Pecans, our specialty, germinate by the dozens. this year some are accompanied by some Copper.
A young Almond tree, nearly completely recovered from Taphrina Deformans (w/o even taking off the effected leaves @vincentnijman)
you can read my post about it here:

Bamboos
our Bamboos are thriving this year too. very much so.
this young Fargesia Robusta has about a dozen new shoots that overgrow the original plant in more then a meter !
one of our giant bamboos, averages about 10cm. of growth a day. (4 Inches).
and as promised above, this is what the tub looks like today. you can barely see the antenna among the corns.
many pumpkins are beginning to form. I have counted 7 on just one of the plants. all this in less then 60 days. (2 days short).

other news
our beloved Kangoo is still in the garage, waiting for an injection pump. this is going to hurt ; (
we have decided to go back to homeschooling next year which means real world schooling, real skills, things that matter. back to routines of climbing, Karate, maybe guitar also.
I suspect I enjoy homeschooling as much as my son does, maybe even more.
there will be more #HomeEdders posts, #KidzCommunity, #Cervantes likely (his native language is Spanish). probably more #CleanPlanet ones too as the focus shifts.
my son´s account is up and running as a savings account for the moment. (@yolos.account )
as soon as we get out his introduction post, you might soon also see his own posts (Lego, Pokémon, I guess, for starters).
due to the recent success in our local markets, I will be now putting even more effort into the nursery and will likely integrate the rest of the family with stuff other than plants.
there is a small group of us trying to bring forward the construction of market stalls that will serve for both rain or shine conditions.
this means some coordination, and sourcing of funds.
all very positive and exciting.
and just in case you haven´t yet seen this beautiful DNA like pattern that the Schumann Resonance is creating in the last few days ❤️
