Tileable Dirt and Grass Textures

Seamless Metal Texture
This week I created a base metal texture with a few variations. I didn't really end up using reference for it. Instead I used multiple layers of photos to add some background detail and painted the rest.

Seamless Wooden Floorboard Textures
I used a lot of reference for this one, this being only one of them. Even though I opted going for a darker color wood, I thought this was a good starting point. Then I created my base texture, adding

Created a seamless floor
I hand painted a seamless cathedral floor texture. It's loosely based upon this reference, but mostly my own design. Perfectly tileable. First I had to put together a base texture. I came up with this.

Practicing my light and shadow contrast
Just some practice. Each done with either a textured, hard, or soft brush in photoshop. Done on a Cintiq (God I wish I could afford one!). Will be posting more of the same throughout the next few months.
