I combined these ingredients and added the mayonnaise, stirring well before adding the lemon juice and vinegar. This salad had a pronounced citrus flavor. Luego de forma gradual agregué la harina de maíz y amasé hasta deshacer los grumos. Armé cuatro arepas y las dispuse en el budare. En veinte minutos estuvieron listas. Mientras esto avanzaba, arreglé y limpié los pescados, extraje las vísceras y las agallas, realicé incisiones en los laterales para una mejor cocción y nuevamente los sumergí en agua. Luego les unté sal, un sartén con aceite caliente los esperaba para freír. Lavé los vegetales, quité las conchas de la papa y la remolacha, corté en pedazos y con una taza de agua llevé a sancochar. En quince minutos estaban blandas. Luego desconché la zanahoria y la rallé, reservé mientras retiraba las semillas de los tomates y cortaba en rodajas. Uní estos ingredientes y agregué la mayonesa, removí muy bien para adicionar el limón y el vinagre. Esta ensalada quedó con un acentuado sabor cítrico.
