So some of you who read my posts know my mother passed away a few weeks ago. Last weekend we had a celebration of life get together in her honor. It was really nice to see all my extended family and family friends from all over the country. My brother flew in from Nebraska my cousin flew in from Philadelphia and my friend Philip came in from st Augustine.
While it’s just sinking in that my mother is really gone it is nice to see that she has touched so many people’s lives. I sometimes write to make myself feel better and I think that is what I’m doing today. I had wanted to write about this celebration sooner but I was enjoying having my family and friends around so I haven’t been on steemit as much as normal but I haven’t forgotten why I joined in the first place. So I will continue to write and hopefully make some sense of this whole situation. I would really like to thank everyone for their well wishes and just for stopping by my posts and saying hi.
