With that being said, here are my top plays at the wide receiver position for Week 10. Enjoy, upvote, and comment on your weekly outlook.
$8,700 / at CLE / ATL - 5.5
Julio Jones has been nothing short of spectacular this year. He has 3 straight 100+ yards game, none of which included anything less than 10 catches. The downside, he doesn't score. In fact, last week marked his first touchdown on the season. Pretty crazy considering his volume and workload each and every week. Regardless, Julio is in another great matchup this week vs. the Cleveland Browns. The Browns are decimated in their secondary with a number of key injuries. They have been getting beat deep all year long and basically have no one to even contend with Julio. I mentioned that I do like Coleman so I wouldn't necessarily recommend playing both an RB and WR from the same team, but Jones is in an other great spot. The vegas line isn't too bad so Jones should continue to get 10-15 targets and against this Cleveland defense, should be able to continue his dominant streak.
$7,800 / vs. NO / CIN + 5
Tyler Boyd has really evolved this season into a great receiver. He continues to get a large target share, rack up yards, and score TDs in the Cincinnati offense as a secondary receiver alongside AJ Green. His price has risen into some pretty expensive territory but this week is a different story. AJ Green will be sitting out this week and possibly multiple weeks due to injury. That leaves Boyd as the primary target in the Cinci offense. With the numbers he posted in a secondary role next to Green, I suspect Boyd can exceed that as the main guy now. Greens target share and usage should be spread out among a couple guys but I suspect most of that usage will flow into Boyd. More so, the Saints defense has been getting torched all year long, especially through the air where they rank as one of the worse pass defending teams in the league. At home, as an underdog, against a bad defense, and now the primary target, I like my chances with Boyd this weekend if you feel like spending up for a typically cheaper secondary receiver now becoming a primary guy.
$6,700 / at TEN / NE - 7
We all know Gordon has supreme talent and was one of the better and more talented receivers in Cleveland just a few years ago. The times have changed, Gordon is older, Gordon has missed time, and is now in a new offense, but I see big things ahead for the receiver. Now paired in a great offense with a great QB, Gordon should be able to excel and we are starting to see more and more of that each week. My favorite thing is that Gordon received 10 targets last week which he was able to turn into 5 catches for 130 yards and a TD. If thats what we can expect in terms of target share, sign me up each week with his talent and the QB thats throwing to him. I do believe a large amount of this usage came from the absence of Gronkowski. So if Gronk is active, temper expectations as Gordon becomes less of a lock. But should Gronk be out again, I will be playing a significant amount of Gordon.
Devante Adams - $8,600 - Packers
Corey Davis - $5,800 - Titans
Good luck this weekend and lets win some money!
