Fable 3 - Escape
Every now and then I'll hear a song, and no matter what I'm doing at the time, the song will completely take over me. I have always been deeply passionate about music, and will listen to almost any genre. Another passion of mine is Video games, so every now and then I'll be playing the game and suddenly have to press pause to hear the song that's paying.
Some of the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard have been made for a video game soundtrack. One song in particular that is worth mentioning is Escape from Fable 3. For those who don't know, Fable is an RPG series that started out back on the original Xbox. I had a chance over the years to play Fable 1, 2 and 3. All 3 games had an amazing soundtrack in their own right, but my favourite song is Escape.
It has a beautiful string section that locks into a nice rhythm before sneaking up on you with a tempo change. it was first played during a mission in the game where you are finding out shocking details about a mysterious character, and it fit the mood of the mission perfectly. This song was composed by Russell Shaw, who has done the soundtracks for many if not all of the Fable games, including 1, 2, and 3. Like I said, I enjoy the whole soundtrack, not just this one song. so I encourage you to check it out and tell me what you think of it.
