The first track I ever published online, Destined to Rise became my point of departure in the world of music and beyond. Written for
Risen2.ru in 2011, a fansite of the Risen RPG franchise, it will always occupy a special place among my pieces. Back in the days my Core 2 Duo E6300 was struggling hard with the abundance of orchestral sound libraries used in this project so I had to split it in two to work separately on each fragment and then mix the tracks back together into one coherent composition. An important milestone that taught me how creations can benefit from creators spending some extra time on a project. The artwork I've chosen for the cover is something I drew on my intuos tablet in GIMP. The only bit edited in is the ship silhouette from
