Last Saturday, I had the opportunity to go to the one of the most popular cafe in an area called Damai. The Kopi Ping Cafe is about 10 to 15 minutes drive from Kota Kinabalu City.
I've just picked up my daughter and my niece after they finished with their school extra-curricular activities. Since we passed by Damai, they requested that we stopped by to have a drink before going home.
As you can see from the picture above, the cafe is almost fully filled with customers. It shows how popular this place is for people of all ages, especially the youngsters. The indoor is fully air conditioned, it is comfortable, but a bit noisy to my liking.
Then there is the outdoor seatings, but I guess customers rather sit inside where the temperature is cooler.
Here are the drink menus given by the waiter. You need to write down the code of the drink that you wanted and then give it to the cashier at the counter. And you have to pay for it immediately.
It was a really hot day, so all of us ordered cold drinks.
Those drinks were really delicious, cooling and flavorful, we have no complaints at all.
This cafe is opens daily from 10.00am to 12.00am. The place is clean, comfortable and the staffs are quite friendly. Its a nice place to hang out, but its a bit too noisy as customers talk a bit louder in there. I always wonder why
