Last week, I had the privilege to dine at the newest Japanese Restaurant in Town. The restaurant named Teppanya Cafe is located at Plaza 333, about 20 minutes from Kota Kinabalu City, and only 10 minutes from Donggongon Town.
I wasn't aware of this new restaurant, and I almost passed it by. But my wife stopped by the entrance to look at its menu, and a friendly waitress came to greet and welcomed us. Being curious, we entered the restaurant to check it out.
After a brief conversation with the waitress, we finally get to know that the restaurant was just opened about three days ago. It's all brand new inside. I love the arrangements of the tables in the dining area, the ambience is good and those simple but classy decorations they put up on the wall is so lovely.
The restaurant is fully air-conditioned, and the seats are really comfortable. Its a good place for a date in my opinion, I guess it is quite a romantic place too. Here are some pictures inside the restaurant.
The menu is quite thick, so here are some of the menus just for a quick glance.
All the foods shown in the menu looks really good and delicious, and it did take us quite a while before we can decide what to order. So, here are the pictures of what we had.
As for drinks, my wife ordered this blue colored cold and refreshing drink named Ice Blue Lemonade Tea. I don't know how to describe the taste, it tasted a bit like the Blue Colored Haaven & Earth Soda.
As a coffee lover, I opted to try their Hot White Coffee, but there is nothing special in its taste. Its just like any ordianry coffee that I can get from any other shops.
