Hello there my fellow Tasteemers. For the Best Breakfast Contest, let me introduce to you Restaurant Tom Yum Joe & Frin located at Donggongon Square. This restaurant has been in business for nearly 2 years now, but unfortunately every time I passed by this restaurant it looks empty. They doesn't seems to have many customers.
It was about a month ago that I went to check out this restaurant out of curiosity, and yes, there are no customer inside. It makes me even more curious. The waiter came to my table and showed me the menu.
Based on the menu and its price, everything seems to be fine in my opinion. The picture of the foods looks nice, and the price is reasonable based on its portion. But how about the taste? I asked for recommendations from the waiter, something that is just right for in between breakfast and lunch, and he recommended me the "Fish Head Noodle Soup".
While eating, I was observing the entire restaurant, from its ambience, the cleanliness and the staffs. Everythings seems to be ok, good atmosphere to hang out for a drink with friends, its clean, and the staffs are friendly. But while I was there, only one customer came just to order for a take away. I was there for nearly an hour.
It was a really weird experience to see a restaurant with good food but has very few customers.
If you guys ever visit this area, do drop by this restaurant and have a taste of its food. Its not right for me to judge the restaurant based on the single order that I made. Maybe different customers has different overall opinion about the restaurant.
