On Steemit, EVERYBODY can become successful Steemians. This statement may clash with some popular opinions, but I’ll explain myself. I've been on Steemit for 6 months, enough time to realize a few things…
There are only two types of Steemians in the world
The ones that ONLY want to get money, and the ones that want MORE than money.
I ONLY WANT MONEY:
If you just want to make money, I'll tell you that there’s NOTHING wrong with you. You must acquire commitment and discipline, see it as a job where the Steemit ideals and this community are your bosses, after all, that's where your money will come from, respect that.
Steemit is not easy money. The payment is proportional to your time, Time is money. I say it because each post is remunerated depending on the quality of the ORIGINAL content of your post. If you want to copy what others say or do, you won’t get rich. And creating original content takes time, you must read a lot and you must offer something that is worth. Add value.
-But I have nothing interesting to say, I have nothing to offer, I don’t know what I'm passionate about, I have no talent.
YES, YOU HAVE IT! And here is where the beauty of Steemit is, if you want to succeed you will look for this, you will make a trip of self-discovery, in which you will grow, you will learn to write better, to read better (especially this) and it will expand your mind in many ways for the community’s feedback.
Try different things. Show your UNIQUE vision of the world through writing, painting, photography, science, technology, languages, games, philosophy, cooking, drinks, your opinions or whatever you can think of, and you might be surprised by the answer.
If you are not willing to do this, I predict that at most you will be here like 2 months, and then you will leave.
I WANT MORE THAN MONEY:
You who are reading this, I want you to know that you are very special. If you want more than money that makes you an inspiring person, someone who wants to give a message and because of this, you’ll have the best chance of prevailing the adversity, of being successful not only here on Steemit, but in everything you do.
The wonderful thing about people like you is that you will never see Steemit as a job, you will see it as a blessing. You will find content here that will enrich you more than money does, also truly valuable people and the very experience of creating original content is very enriching.
TIPS FOR BOTH:
1. MAKE A PLAN:
Planning starts before you start if you haven’t done your #IntroduceYourself post, think a lot about how to do it if you want to use a pseudonym and speak exclusively about a topic or want to be yourself (I opted for this option because I can cover more topics). Within the planning, do research: looks for the Discord, how to use them properly and it’s fundamental to know about Copyright.2. GO FOR IT:
After doing research and planning you must have the time to be devoted to it, making a good post can be complicated at first, but with practice, you will improve faster and you will do it better..3. BE CONSTANT AND DON'T STOP LEARNING:
Those who stop learning age, the people who keep learning, stay young. Let's develop patience.If you follow these steps you will have guaranteed success on this wonderful platform.
