A film that proclaims itself a tribute to the "No reason", initiating the film breaking the fourth wall in an unexpected way, is one of the most WTF films that I've seen in my life and…

Warning: This is NOT a recommended movie, unless you are a curious person who likes to see different works, original works in some aspect.

Let's see the trailer

My opinion

I would say after this, that Rubber will blow your mind, but I know that wouldn't be like that necessarily..

How to explain a film whose own introduction is meaningless?

Will this movie make any sense?

Possibly in looking for meaning in this film we waste our time, we dishonor the essence and intention with which the film was made, but for some of us, finding meaning in meaningless things is a necessity. (That might be what the movie is really about)

We could easily say that it is a metaphor, in my particular case, I think it is the story of the story, specifically the story of an independent film while it is "ROLLING" on the movie boards, or simply rolling around, in this case in the small towns (you can see that Robert is in a small town with a quite varied audience) While the audience seeks to "EAT THE STORY" because they are hungry to find meaning to what their eyes are witnessing because after all, they paid to be there.

I liked this movie; however, it is one of those movies that I would see once. Literally at the end of the film I was thinking about whether I would have lost my time, but I think the film is comical, it is a satire and a criticism both to those who make films and to the audience in general.

The movie has a score of

5.9 score on Film Affinity

5.8 score on IMDB

Maybe you're wondering, Betzabe if it's a movie that you DO NOT recommend why write about it?

-"No reason"

OkNo, simply because it is a different film and you must know how to value efforts to do different things in such a predictable and clichéd cinematographic environment.
