Age will always remain an impediment to sound health in lots of ways, irrespective of that science has provided us with ways to go about it, eliminate the offending agent and restore rejuvenation. As we age the crystalline lens in our eye which allows refraction of light through to allow us see becomes cloudy, this results in hazy and cloudy vision. Depending on the location of the opacity one may have difficulty with day vision or night vision.
Spectacle is able to provide better vision for cataractous patients for a time range, which is good, because within those times their vision is quite improved, until finally the physiology of the eye development reach the stage where cataract surgery becomes the only option to clear the cloudiness and ensure transparent vision. Until then we will continue to do what we do best. Provide the best care we can to these individuals and enhance their vision.

What is 
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
To reduce or prevent vision loss through diseases such as glaucoma, cataract and refractive errors.
To enlighten the majority of the Ghanaian population about the importance of proper visual care.
To conscientize people on the need for regular eye checks
To get more people to have their wards screened within the Critical periods of a Child’s Vision Development; thus from ages 3 to till about 10 years.
To help the blind and people with low vision live a better life within the society through education of the general public to stop stigmatization.
